Academic Alpha, a Bern-based investment and consulting firm, named Harald Reczek as Partner and Head of Business Development, effective September 2026.
Reczek, who previously served as Head of Investment Solutions and executive board member at EFG International for two years until February 2023, will lead market presence expansion, distribution and strategic growth initiatives at Academic Alpha. His appointment follows a period of self-employment after leaving EFG International.
Before EFG International, Reczek held senior roles including Deputy Head of Asset Management Switzerland & EMEA at Credit Suisse and Managing Director of DWS Switzerland at Deutsche Bank. His career spans over two decades in asset and wealth management at internationally recognized financial institutions.
Academic Alpha stated the move aims to strengthen its advisory and investment services through Reczek’s long-standing management experience in the sector.
