Abingdon Health plc, a UK-based company specializing in rapid diagnostic tests and regulatory services for medical technology products, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Madison, Wisconsin. The facility, located at University Research Park, marks the company's expansion into the US market and aims to enhance its manufacturing capacity in the region.
The event was attended by local officials, including Congressman Mark Pocan, Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway, and Secretary John Miller of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. Representatives from the Wisconsin State Legislature were also present.
Chris Yates, President of Abingdon Health USA and Chief Commercial Officer of Abingdon Health plc, highlighted the facility's significance, stating that it enables the company to offer a more comprehensive and integrated 'end to end' CDMO solution for its US customers.
