Aberdeen Intermediate Income Fund (NYSE: MIN) has approved a 1-for-6 reverse stock split, a move the board said is intended to increase the fund's per-share market price.
The consolidated shares are expected to become effective prior to the opening of trading on October 8, 2026. Under the arrangement, every six common shares held by investors will be combined into a single common share. The fund said the action applies equally to all shareholders and will not alter its investment strategy, net assets, or distribution policy.
No fractional shares will be issued as a result of the consolidation. Fractional entitlements will be aggregated and sold, with net proceeds distributed to affected shareholders. Holdings in brokerage accounts will generally be adjusted automatically, while shareholders holding physical share certificates must contact transfer agent Computershare Trust Company, N.A., at 1-800-647-0584.
The fund confirmed it will continue paying distributions at an annual rate of 8.50%, calculated based on its average monthly net asset value. A new CUSIP — 55273C206 — will replace the existing identifier of 55273C107 following the split.
Aberdeen Investments manages approximately $527 billion in assets as of June 30, 2026, including 28 closed-end funds with combined assets of $28.3 billion.
