Yiren Digital reported on Wednesday that its artificial intelligence systems identified and blocked $23 million in fraudulent transactions during 2025, mitigating financial losses for clients.
The Beijing-based fintech company, which specializes in consumer finance, said the AI models analyzed transaction patterns in real time to detect anomalies and suspicious activities. The systems flagged and halted unauthorized transactions before funds could be diverted, reducing exposure to financial crime.
Yiren Digital did not disclose the number of incidents prevented or the specific fraud types targeted by its AI tools. The company emphasized the role of machine learning in enhancing security across its lending and payment platforms.
