Waters Corporation shares hit 52-week high of $414.15

Waters Corporation’s shares rose to a 52-week high of $414.15 on Tuesday, marking the highest level since June 2023. The milestone extends a sustained rally in the analytical instrument manufacturer’s stock, which has gained roughly 20% over the past three months amid robust demand for laboratory equipment and related services.

The company, a key supplier of high-performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry systems, has benefited from increased spending in biopharmaceutical research, environmental testing, and food safety sectors. Waters’ latest quarterly results, released last month, showed revenue growth of 8% year-over-year, driven by both core instrument sales and recurring revenue streams from consumables and services.

Analysts attributed the stock’s upward momentum to sustained tailwinds in life sciences and industrial applications, as well as Waters’ strategic focus on expanding its digital lab solutions portfolio. The company has also highlighted ongoing operational efficiency improvements, which have supported margin expansion despite broader economic headwinds.

The 52-week high comes as the broader life sciences tools sector continues to attract investor interest, with peers such as Thermo Fisher Scientific and Agilent Technologies also trading near multi-year peaks. Waters’ shares closed at $412.50 on Monday, up 0.6% in pre-market trading following the intraday high.
