Switzerland's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs has published an update to its sanctions list linked to the Taliban.
The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) has published an update to the list of sanctioned natural persons, companies, and organizations under the ordinance concerning measures against individuals and entities associated with the Taliban (SR 946.231.07), originally issued on March 21, 2025.
The updated sanctions measures took effect following the publication by SECO. Financial institutions and market participants in Switzerland are required to review their client bases and transactions against the revised registry to ensure compliance with Swiss regulatory mandates.
