Ryman Hospitality Properties Inc. announced plans to issue $700 million in senior unsecured notes to fund the acquisition of a resort in Orlando, Florida.
The hospitality real estate investment trust (REIT) disclosed the financing plan in a regulatory filing, though specific details of the acquisition target were not revealed. Proceeds from the notes will be used to finance the purchase, which is expected to expand Ryman’s presence in the Orlando hospitality market.
The company, which owns and operates upscale hotels under brands such as Gaylord Hotels, has not provided further financial terms or the expected closing timeline for the transaction. Ryman’s senior notes are typically structured with maturities ranging from 5 to 30 years, though the final terms will depend on market conditions at issuance.
