Opko Health shares hit 52‑week high of $1.74

Opko Health Inc. saw its shares climb to a 52‑week peak of $1.74, marking a 34% gain since the start of the year. Over the past six months the stock has risen more than 50%, and its total return for the last 12 months stands at 19.44%.

In the second quarter of 2026 the company reported revenue of $163.6 million, a 4.3% year‑over‑year increase that exceeded H.C. Wainwright’s estimate of $130.0 million. Pharmaceutical sales grew 5.4% to $42.9 million, helped by higher volumes in Spain and Mexico and a $1.8 million favorable foreign‑exchange effect. Revenue from the Rayaldee kidney‑disorder drug rose to $8.1 million from $7.2 million a year earlier, supported by positive gross‑to‑net adjustments.

Opko posted a loss of $0.01 per share, well ahead of analysts’ consensus expectation of a $0.08 loss. H.C. Wainwright reaffirmed its Buy rating and set a price target of $3.00 for the stock. InvestingPro’s analysis, however, placed Opko on its "Most Overvalued" list relative to fair‑value estimates.

The stock’s strong price performance and better‑than‑expected earnings have drawn attention from investors, though valuation concerns remain.
