Lahontan Gold Names Billy Choi as CFO Amid Mine Permitting Push

Lahontan Gold Corp. (TSXV: LG, OTCQB: LGCXF, FSE: Y2F) has appointed Billy Choi as its new chief financial officer, effective October 2026, replacing John McNeice, who served in the role since the company’s founding. Choi’s appointment comes as the company accelerates permitting for its Santa Fe Mine project in Nevada’s Walker Lane, with gold production expected to resume in 2027. The mine holds a combined NI 43-101 compliant indicated and inferred resource of 1.195 million to 1.190 million ounces of gold equivalent, supporting its long-term development strategy. Historical production between 1988 and 1995 yielded 359,202 ounces of gold and 702,067 ounces of silver, underscoring the project’s potential.
