Kepler upgrades Zehnder to buy amid resilient ventilation demand
Analysts cite expanding margins and steady demand for ventilation systems as key drivers for the upgrade.

Kepler Cheuvreux has upgraded its rating on Swiss ventilation specialist Zehnder Group to buy from hold, citing resilient demand for ventilation systems and anticipated margin expansion.
The brokerage firm raised its price target on Zehnder shares to 320 Swiss francs from 280 francs, reflecting confidence in the company’s ability to sustain growth despite macroeconomic headwinds. Analysts highlighted steady demand for high-efficiency ventilation products, particularly in residential and commercial sectors, as a primary catalyst for the upgrade.
Zehnder’s focus on energy-efficient solutions has positioned it to benefit from regulatory trends favoring improved indoor air quality and reduced energy consumption, Kepler noted. The company’s recent operational improvements, including cost efficiencies and supply chain optimizations, are expected to further bolster margins in the near term.
The upgrade follows a period of volatility in European equities, where industrial and building materials stocks have faced pressure from rising input costs and supply chain disruptions. Zehnder’s resilience in this environment underscores its competitive positioning within the ventilation market, according to Kepler.
Kepler’s bullish outlook contrasts with broader caution among investors regarding cyclical industrial stocks. The firm’s revised valuation reflects a premium for Zehnder’s exposure to structural growth trends in ventilation and indoor climate solutions.
Shares of Zehnder were trading higher in early European trading on Friday.
