Evolution Metals Joins Russell 2000, Russell 3000 Indexes

Evolution Metals & Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: EMAT) has been added to the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indexes, effective at the opening of U.S. equity markets on September 21, 2026. The inclusion followed FTSE Russell’s third-quarter 2026 additions process, reflecting the company’s growth as a critical minerals producer specializing in rare-earth permanent magnets, battery materials, and related feedstocks. The company, which completed its Nasdaq listing earlier this year, has accelerated commercial operations, achieving production at scale within eight months of its listing. It secured non-China neodymium-praseodymium feedstocks and is expanding its Pohang, South Korea, facility, targeting an annual magnet production capacity of approximately 10,000 metric tons by 2027, including 6,000 metric tons of high-performance sintered neodymium-iron-boron magnets. A 750-megawatt electrical infrastructure agreement with KEPCO supports its operations, with 13 additional ULVAC sintered magnet production machines scheduled for delivery in November 2026. The timing aligns with defense sourcing requirements under the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), which take effect on January 1, 2027. The company’s revenue guidance for fiscal 2027 ranges from $400 million to $460 million, underscoring its expanding role in critical minerals supply chains. FTSE Russell’s indexes, which benchmark over $12.2 trillion in assets, now include Evolution Metals in their U.S. equity universes.
