Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds experienced their largest day of outflows since late June after a major cryptocurrency legislation bill stalled in the U.S. Senate.
The 13 US-listed Bitcoin ETFs saw a net outflow of $450.4 million on Tuesday, reversing Monday's inflow of $159.9 million, according to data from Farside Research. The pullback marks the biggest one-day exit since June 24, when funds shed $469 million amid a broader tech-stock selloff that weighed on risk assets.
Fidelity's FBTC led the outflows with $214.8 million withdrawn, followed by $161.7 million from BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust, $44.1 million from Grayscale's Bitcoin Trust ETF (GBTC), $17.4 million from ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB), and $12.4 million from Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB).
Bitcoin was trading at approximately $75,700 at the time of reporting, down 2.5% over the preceding 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap data.
