Shares of Baldwin Insurance Group Inc. rose 5.4% in premarket trading Monday after a Financial Times report said billionaire Michael Dell's family office is close to acquiring the insurance brokerage.
DFO Management, the family office for Dell, has been in discussions with Baldwin over a potential deal that could take the company private, according to the report. DFO Management and Baldwin could announce a deal as early as next week.
