Cathie Wood's ARK Invest disclosed a series of portfolio moves on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, highlighting continued rotation within the ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) and its genomics-focused sibling, ARK Genomic Revolution ETF (ARKG).
The largest exit came in Advanced Micro Devices. ARKK shed 19,491 shares, selling an estimated $9.86 million in the semiconductor maker — part of a sustained trimming trend that has seen the fund reduce its AMD stake throughout the prior week.
In contrast, ARKK made a sizeable entry into Archer Aviation, purchasing 575,700 shares valued at roughly $3.36 million. The move signals deepening exposure to the urban air mobility sector, where ARK has been selectively adding positions.
Other notable acquisitions included 263,163 shares of Beam Therapeutics ($7.06 million) split between ARKK and ARKG; 32,561 shares of Cerebras Systems ($6.5 million) in ARKK; and 110,841 shares of CRISPR Therapeutics ($6.07 million) across both funds. The CRISPR purchase extends ARK's ongoing conviction in gene-editing therapeutics.
On the sell side, ARKK divested 38,395 shares of Palantir Technologies for $6.54 million. Additional exits included 68,759 shares of Tempus AI ($4.42 million), 37,066 shares of Twist Bioscience ($4.75 million), and 46,401 shares of 10X Genomics ($3.04 million).
ARKK also bought 27,083 shares of Robinhood Markets for $3.18 million, adding to its fintech exposure alongside the broader technology and healthcare rotations.
