Aprea Therapeutics to present APR-1051 Phase 1 data at Barcelona symposium

Aprea Therapeutics Inc., a clinical‑stage precision‑medicine oncology company headquartered in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, announced that it will present updated interim results from its Phase 1 ACESOT‑1051 study.

The data, which evaluate APR‑1051 – an oral small‑molecule inhibitor of the WEE1 kinase – will be shown on Friday, 20 November 2026, from 15:00 to 15:10 CET in Rooms 111 and 112 at the CCIB Barcelona venue. The presentation is part of the 38th EORTC‑NCI‑AACR Symposium on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics, running 18‑20 November.

Timothy A. Yap, MBBS, PhD, FRCP, from the Department of Investigational Cancer Therapeutics at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and an investigator on the ACESOT‑1051 trial, will deliver the talk. Aprea’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Oren Gilad, said the company looks forward to sharing the data with the international oncology community.

The ACESOT‑1051 trial (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier NCT06260514) enrolls patients with advanced solid tumours and is designed to assess safety, tolerability and early efficacy signals of APR‑1051. Aprea’s pipeline also includes ATRN‑119, an oral ATR inhibitor under development for solid‑tumour indications.

The company listed the presentation under its NASDAQ ticker APRE and indicated that the forthcoming data will inform further clinical development of its WEE1‑targeted therapy.
