AbbVie Inc. (NYSE: ABBV) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $1.73 per share, its board of directors said on September 10.
The payment, set for Nov. 16 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 15, marks another step in a dividend track that has increased by more than 330% since the company was spun off from Abbott Laboratories in 2013.
AbbVie is a constituent of the S&P Dividend Aristocrats Index, which recognizes companies that have raised their dividends annually for at least 25 consecutive years.
