Waraba Gold appoints Adam Cegielski as director

Waraba Gold Limited, a gold exploration firm active in West Africa, announced the immediate appointment of Adam Cegielski to its board of directors. Under a director services agreement, Cegielski will receive an annual retainer of C$50,000, paid in deferred share units through the company's omnibus incentive plan and credited quarterly in arrears.

Cegielski brings extensive mining‑sector experience. He currently chairs Silver Viper Minerals Corp. and Orex Minerals Inc., was a founding director of Cayden Resources Inc., and founded Gold Line Resources Ltd., an exploration company focused on northern Sweden, in 2020. His prior involvement includes the C$205 million acquisition of Cayden Resources by Agnico Eagle Mines Limited.

Waraba Gold, listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange (ticker WBGD), Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ZE00) and OTC Pink (WARAF), is assessing new opportunities in Côte d'Ivoire and is considering future capital‑raising initiatives. Executive Chairman Carl Esprey said Cegielski’s track record in raising equity capital and executing marquee M&A transactions adds valuable expertise to the board.

The appointment aligns with Waraba’s strategy to strengthen its leadership as it advances exploration projects across West Africa.
