TTEC misses earnings by $0.22, revenue below forecasts
Customer experience firm TTEC reported adjusted earnings per share that fell short of estimates by $0.22, while revenue also trailed Wall Street projections for the quarter.
TTEC Holdings Inc. reported adjusted earnings per share (EPS) that missed analyst expectations by $0.22 in its latest quarter, while revenue also fell below forecasts.
The company, which provides customer experience and technology services, posted adjusted EPS of $0.48, compared with the consensus estimate of $0.70, according to Refinitiv data. Revenue totaled $512.8 million, down from the $525.0 million expected by analysts.
TTEC attributed the shortfall to softer demand in its core business segments, including customer management and digital transformation services. The company noted that while client retention remained stable, new business activity slowed during the period.
Management maintained its full-year guidance, reaffirming adjusted EPS guidance of $2.40 to $2.60 and revenue guidance of $2.05 billion to $2.10 billion. However, the outlook did not fully offset investor concerns over the quarterly performance.
Shares of TTEC were down nearly 5% in after-hours trading following the release, reflecting the market's reaction to the earnings miss and revenue shortfall.
