Supermicro forecasts $72B revenue in FY27 after Q4 sales surge

Super Micro Computer Inc. projected revenue of $72 billion for fiscal 2027 on Tuesday, following a more than doubling of fourth-quarter sales that beat analyst expectations.

The company’s FY26 Q4 revenue reached $14.6 billion, up 107% from the same period a year earlier, according to preliminary results shared in an investor presentation. Net income for the quarter rose 125% year-over-year to $1.2 billion, the company said.

Supermicro attributed the strong performance to sustained demand for AI infrastructure, including its high-performance servers and storage solutions. The company highlighted growth across enterprise, cloud and hyperscale customer segments, with particular strength in North America and Asia-Pacific markets.

For the full fiscal year 2026, Supermicro reported revenue of $40.8 billion, up 95% from FY25. Net income for the year totaled $3.4 billion, a 112% increase from the prior year.

Management’s FY27 revenue guidance of $72 billion implies a 76% year-over-year increase and reflects expectations of continued AI-driven demand, though some analysts noted the forecast remains contingent on sustained investment cycles in data center capacity.

Supermicro shares were indicated up 3% in after-hours trading following the release of the preliminary results. The stock has gained approximately 45% year-to-date, outperforming broader tech benchmarks amid a rally in AI-related equities.

The company is scheduled to release finalized financials and host an earnings call on Aug. 14.
