STARTRADER, a global multi‑asset broker regulated in five jurisdictions (CMA, ASIC, FSCA, FSA and FSC), carried out its STARCares programme at the SOS Children’s Village in Go Vap, Ho Chi Minh City on September 23, 2026. The initiative, titled "A Full Moon for Every Child," provided gift sets to each of the 60 children who took part in an on‑site Mid‑Autumn Festival celebration. Each set contained a lantern, cookies, a water bottle, a milk pack and a colouring kit.
In addition to the gifts, the village received hygiene, cleaning and pantry supplies for its houses, and direct financial support to cover operating costs, tuition, caregiver salaries and infrastructure needs. The village currently cares for approximately 160 children ranging from infants to university students, and the event reached a total of 213 people, including house mothers and staff.
Peter Karsten, CEO of STARTRADER, said the firm’s role is to steady the practical side of the village’s operations so caregivers can plan rather than improvise. Mr. Hoang Long, director of the SOS Children’s Village, noted that the support eases household pressures and lets children feel seen and valued.
SOS Children’s Village Ho Chi Minh City has faced funding pressures since cuts to international aid began in 2023, with remaining commitments extending only through 2026.
