Regions Financial names interim CAO after executive retirement
The regional lender appoints an interim Chief Accounting Officer following the retirement of its CAO, effective immediately.

Regions Financial Corp. said on Monday it has appointed an interim Chief Accounting Officer following the retirement of its current CAO.
The Birmingham, Alabama-based bank did not name the outgoing executive but said the interim role would be filled by an internal candidate. The change is effective immediately, the company said in a filing.
Regions Financial, which operates 1,300 branches across 15 states, did not disclose additional details about the retirement or the interim appointment. The bank added that the transition would not impact its financial reporting or operations.
The regional lender, which has $160 billion in assets, has not provided a timeline for naming a permanent successor. The interim arrangement is expected to remain in place until a permanent CAO is appointed.
