Medallion Bank has entered a strategic partnership with rFinance Credit Company to provide consumer financing for Renewal by Andersen window and door products across the United States, the bank said on September 22.
Under the arrangement, Medallion Bank originates the consumer loans while rFinance administers the program and manages customer service from application through loan servicing. The partnership marks the sixth fintech relationship in Medallion Bank's strategic partnership program.
rFinance specializes in consumer financing specifically tied to replacement window and door products sold through Renewal by Andersen retailers, according to the announcement.
The partnership builds on Medallion Bank's 15 years of experience in home improvement lending, Justin Haley, president and CEO of Medallion Bank, said in a statement. "We are pleased to establish this relationship with rFinance, a recognized leader in consumer financing for Renewal by Andersen customers. This relationship adds the proven rFinance team to our strategic partnership program while building on the Bank's 15 years of home improvement lending expertise," he said.
Karl Halling, president of rFinance, said the partnership enables the company to deliver financing services for homeowners purchasing home improvement products.
Medallion Bank originated $417 million in total strategic partnership loans through June 30, 2026. The Salt Lake City-based, Utah-chartered, FDIC-insured industrial bank also provides consumer loans for recreational vehicles, boats, and home improvements, alongside loan origination and captive finance services to fintech partners throughout the United States.
Medallion Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of Medallion Financial Corp., which trades under the ticker MFIN on NASDAQ; the bank itself trades as MBNKO on the same exchange.
