LiqTech wins $2M order from U.S. steelmaker
Danish cleantech firm LiqTech secures a second $2 million order from a major U.S. steel manufacturer for filtration systems.

LiqTech International Inc. said it has received a follow-on order worth $2 million from a U.S. steel manufacturer for its advanced filtration systems.
The order, expected to be fulfilled by the end of the third quarter, marks the second significant contract from the same customer within a year. Financial terms were not disclosed beyond the stated order value.
LiqTech, a Danish provider of clean technology solutions, specializes in ceramic and silicon carbide filtration systems for industrial applications. The company has highlighted its technology’s role in reducing emissions and improving operational efficiency in steel production.
The repeat order underscores the steelmaker’s confidence in LiqTech’s filtration solutions, the company said in a statement. LiqTech did not name the customer but described it as a major U.S.-based steel manufacturer.
Shares of LiqTech were not immediately available for comment as trading was closed. The company’s previous order from the same customer was announced in February 2024, valued at $1.8 million.
LiqTech has been expanding its presence in the industrial filtration market, targeting sectors where emission control and process optimization are critical. The latest order aligns with its strategy to secure long-term contracts with key industrial players.
