Forgent plc (AIM: FORG) completed additional drilling at Curley's prospect as part of its Peak Hill Gold-Copper Project, the company announced on September 15, 2026.
Phase I drilling at Curley's returned an intersection of 2 meters at 3.68 grams per tonne of gold. The follow-up programme drilled 12 additional holes at approximately 20-meter step-outs around that intersection, aimed at extending the strike and continuity of the mineralisation.
In total, Forgent has drilled 56 holes totaling 2,771 metres at Peak Hill. That comprises 30 holes at Curley's and 26 holes at the nearby Cathedral prospect. Forgent owns 99% of the project.
Samples from the drilling programme will now be submitted for laboratory analysis.
