Clean Harbors to buy EnviroServe for $470 million
Waste management firm Clean Harbors agrees to acquire environmental services provider EnviroServe in an all-cash deal valued at $470 million.

Clean Harbors Inc. said on Friday it would acquire EnviroServe Inc. in an all-cash transaction valued at $470 million, expanding its environmental services portfolio.
The deal, expected to close in the second half of 2025, will be funded through existing cash and debt facilities, according to a statement. EnviroServe specializes in hazardous waste management, emergency response and industrial cleaning services, complementing Clean Harbors' existing operations.
Clean Harbors, a provider of hazardous waste disposal and recycling services, said the acquisition would enhance its geographic reach and service capabilities in North America. The company did not disclose financial terms beyond the purchase price.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Clean Harbors expects the deal to be accretive to earnings in the first full year post-close, though it did not provide specific financial projections.
Shares of Clean Harbors were flat in premarket trading following the announcement.
