AdvancedAdvT Limited (AIM:ADVT) on Tuesday announced a new share buyback programme of up to £10 million, appointing Singer Capital Markets Securities Limited to execute purchases over 12 months.
Under the terms, the company said it will pay no more than 5% above the average middle market quotation for the five business days immediately preceding any repurchase date. Shares acquired may be held in treasury for future use in employee share schemes or as consideration for acquisitions, or cancelled.
The new programme follows the completion of an earlier buyback launched on March 4, 2026. That round saw AdvancedAdvT acquire 6,148,953 ordinary shares at a weighted average price of 162.63 pence, for total consideration of £10 million. Those shares remain held in treasury.
In a statement, the board said the current market price does not fully reflect the intrinsic value of the group's software operations and that it continues to consider further substantial returns of capital to shareholders, as previously outlined in the March announcement.
Directors and persons connected with them confirmed they do not intend to sell ordinary shares to the company during the programme. The company added that there is no guarantee the buyback will be implemented in full or that any purchases will be made.
On operational performance, AdvancedAdvT said trading for the six months ended August 31, 2026, was in line with management expectations. A first-half trading update is expected in early October, with full interim results due in the week of November 2.
