Zoomcar Holdings and Uber India & South Asia have integrated Uber Intercity rides into the Zoomcar app, allowing users in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR and Mumbai to compare and book both self-drive and chauffeur-driven intercity travel options in a single platform.
The integration enables one-way and round-trip bookings on select routes, with the service currently live in the three cities and planned for expansion to additional locations. Users can view and compare pricing, availability and vehicle types before selecting their preferred option without leaving the Zoomcar app.
Zoomcar, founded in 2013 and headquartered in Bengaluru, operates a peer-to-peer car-sharing marketplace across more than 100 cities in India, with a community of over 10 million guests and 42,000 vehicles on its platform. Uber launched operations in India in 2013 and is active in more than 125 cities, enabling over 2 million Indians to earn income through its platform.
Deepankar Tiwari, CEO of Zoomcar Holdings, said the partnership ensures users can make intercity travel choices within the Zoomcar platform without switching apps. Rishant Ghosh, Director of Consumer & Growth at Uber India & South Asia, said the integration broadens access to Uber Intercity by offering another booking option to travelers seeking reliable outstation rides.
