Zentek Ltd. corrected the start date for its planned quotation on the OTCQX Best Market to Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, following an error in its Aug. 28 press release that misstated the day of the week.
The Toronto-based intellectual property company, which develops graphene-enabled and advanced material technologies, had initially announced the transition from NASDAQ to OTCQX in its Aug. 28 release. The correction aligns the trading start date with the previously stated date of Sept. 2, 2026, effective at the opening of trading.
Zentek applied for quotation of its common shares on OTCQX and has completed all required filings and fee payments, the company said. Shares currently listed on NASDAQ under the symbol ZTEK will be quoted on an initial tier until the OTCQX application is finalized, at which point a new U.S. trading symbol is expected to be assigned and published.
The TSX Venture Exchange listing under ZEN remains the company’s primary exchange and is unaffected by the OTC transition. Shareholders are not required to take any action; existing share counts, certificates and book-entry positions will remain unchanged.
As of the Aug. 28 close, Zentek’s shares were last quoted at 0.77 Canadian dollars on the TSX Venture Exchange, unchanged from the prior session.
