XRP advanced 10.48% on Friday, marking its biggest one-day percentage increase since August 20, according to Investing.com data. The token traded as high as $1.4275 and as low as $1.2597 over the session, closing at $1.3736.
The seven-day gain reached 37.66%, extending a rally that has pushed XRP’s market capitalization to $86.07 billion, or 3.31% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. Trading volume over the past 24 hours totaled $8.7988 billion, accounting for 5.41% of all crypto turnover.
Bitcoin rose 6.65% to $77,494.40, while Ethereum gained 5.24% to $2,440.17. Bitcoin’s market cap expanded to $1.55 trillion, representing 59.75% of the sector’s total value, and Ethereum’s market cap reached $294.21 billion, or 11.31% of the market.
XRP remains 62.42% below its all-time high of $3.66, set on July 18, 2025. Its latest surge follows a period of volatility, with the token’s 24-hour range reflecting heightened intraday activity.
