XRP dropped 11.28% to $1.4745 in the largest single-day decline since February 5, according to Investing.com data. The selloff pushed the token’s market capitalization to $92.53 billion, a 3.56% share of the total crypto market.
The digital asset traded between $1.4626 and $1.5186 over the past 24 hours, with volume reaching $14.04 billion. This represented 10.94% of all cryptocurrency transactions during the period. Despite the sharp decline, XRP remains 59.66% below its July 18, 2025 all-time high of $3.66.
Over the past seven days, XRP had gained 46.85%, having fluctuated between $0.9886 and $1.6950. The broader cryptocurrency market also retreated, with Bitcoin falling 1.98% to $76,932.1 and Ethereum down 4.05% at $2,414.03. Bitcoin’s market cap stood at $1.54 trillion, accounting for 59.40% of total crypto value, while Ethereum’s market cap totaled $291.01 billion, or 11.19% of the sector.
The decline in XRP followed a period of volatility across digital assets, with the token’s recent gains partially reversing in the latest session.
