VitrA Tiles showcased its new "The Code" concept at the Cersaie 2026 International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings in Bologna, Italy, held from September 21 to 25.
The concept comprises three collections. "Resincode" draws on the porous texture of natural concrete, "Geocode" is inspired by Spanish limestone, marble, quartzite and gneiss and offers four surface typologies—Alba, Imperio, Rio and Merano—and "Metacode" features three metal‑tone finishes in gold, iron and copper.
VitrA partnered with technology provider Välinge, which supplied Ceraloc locking technology for the V‑Flex system. V‑Flex is an adhesive‑free tile installation solution that uses specialised side profiles for mechanical bonding and claims up to five times faster application than conventional bonded tiles. The system is targeted at retail stores, showrooms, offices, hotels, educational facilities and other commercial spaces.
The company also highlighted V‑Tone, a process aimed at preserving colour consistency across different ceramic surfaces as production lines are upgraded.
VitrA Tiles, which incorporates the VitrA, Villeroy & Boch and engers brands, is among Turkey's leading ceramic‑tile exporters to the EU and Europe. It operates two production plants, employs roughly 2,000 people and has an annual capacity of 31 million square metres. The Bozüyük plant has been recognised by the World Economic Forum’s Global Lighthouse Network for its Industry 4.0 and digital‑transformation initiatives.
