A director of the Virtus Equity & Convertible Income Fund has acquired 245 common shares of the closed-end fund, according to a regulatory filing.
Connie D. McDaniel purchased the shares on Aug. 20 at a price of $26.3693 each, for a total consideration of $6,460. The transaction was disclosed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Aug. 24.
Following the purchase, McDaniel’s direct ownership in the fund increased to 471 shares. The Virtus Equity & Convertible Income Fund, which trades under the ticker NIE, focuses on equity and convertible securities within its portfolio strategy.
