UBS Multiplies Bitcoin ETF Call Options 24-Fold in Q2
Swiss banking giant UBS significantly expanded its exposure to spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds during the quarter, increasing call options while trimming puts.

Swiss mega-bank UBS dramatically increased its exposure to spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds during the quarter, led by a 24-fold surge in call option holdings.
According to regulatory filings, UBS expanded its direct holdings of the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) by 12%, bringing its total to 407,890 shares. Concurrently, the bank's exposure to put options on the asset declined by approximately 53% to 143,300 underlying shares.
