Ubiquiti Networks reported fourth-quarter results that exceeded analyst expectations, yet its shares fell 4.57% to $547.67 as investors weighed margin pressures and valuation concerns.
The company posted adjusted earnings per share of $4.73 on revenue of $937.3 million, both above consensus estimates of $4.48 and $868.3 million, respectively. For the full fiscal year 2026, Ubiquiti generated revenue of $3.27 billion, a 27.2% increase from the prior year, with adjusted EPS of $15.95. Enterprise Technology platform revenue alone reached $868.3 million in the quarter, up from $680.1 million a year earlier.
Gross margins came in at 45.8% in Q4, an improvement from 45.1% year-over-year but below the 47.0% recorded in the prior quarter. Management warned that rising component costs and supply constraints could weigh on future margins, contributing to investor caution despite the earnings beat.
The stock has retreated sharply from its 2021 high of $1,099.99, leaving it down roughly 50% from that peak. At current levels, Ubiquiti carries a market capitalization of $33.2 billion and a trailing price-to-earnings ratio of approximately 34x. Barclays maintained its Underweight rating with a $247 price target, while the mean analyst target stands at $826, implying roughly 40% upside. A fair-value model suggests the stock is slightly overvalued, with just -7.9% upside.
Ubiquiti also extended its $500 million share buyback program through September 30, 2027, and declared a $1.00 per share quarterly dividend payable on September 8, 2026, with plans to maintain at least that level through fiscal 2027.
Analysts noted a six-quarter streak of earnings beats, though the magnitude of surprises has compressed over time. The latest quarter’s surprise of 5.6% compares with prior beats of 80.6% in Q4 2025 and 64.0% in Q1 2026. For fiscal 2027, consensus estimates call for EPS of $17.23 and revenue of $3.69 billion, representing roughly 8% EPS growth. First-quarter 2027 expectations center on adjusted EPS of $4.15 on revenue of $859.8 million, according to consensus forecasts.
