U.S. Representative Kevin Hern sells stakes in Organon and Versant Media
Republican lawmaker Kevin Hern liquidates holdings in Organon & Co. and Versant Media Group, disclosing transactions valued at over $1 million.

U.S. Representative Kevin Hern has sold shares in Organon & Co. and Versant Media Group, according to federal financial disclosures filed on Tuesday.
The transactions, reported under the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act, included the disposal of Organon stock valued at approximately $1.05 million and Versant Media Group shares worth roughly $150,000. The sales were executed in multiple tranches between mid-May and early June.
Hern, a Republican representing Oklahoma's 1st congressional district, did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the reasons behind the divestment. The disclosures do not specify whether the sales were part of a pre-planned trading plan or discretionary decisions.
Organon & Co., a global women's health pharmaceutical company, has seen its stock price fluctuate amid broader sector volatility. Versant Media Group, a private company specializing in digital media and advertising solutions, is not publicly traded, and its valuation is based on private market estimates.
Under U.S. congressional ethics rules, lawmakers are required to disclose financial transactions within 45 days of the transaction date. The disclosures are intended to prevent conflicts of interest and ensure transparency in lawmakers' personal investments.
