The TJX Companies (NYSE:TJX) announced the appointment of Craig Pintoff to its board of directors, effective immediately.
Pintoff currently serves as executive vice president and chief administrative officer at United Rentals (NYSE:URI), where he has overseen human resources, legal, safety, and environmental functions since 2003. He has held various leadership roles at the rental-equipment company throughout his tenure there.
Carol Meyrowitz, executive chairman of TJX's board, said Pintoff brings experience in human capital management, talent development, organizational leadership, risk oversight, regulatory compliance, international operations, and corporate governance.
TJX operates more than 5,200 stores across ten countries under store brands including TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods in the U.S., Winners and HomeSense in Canada, TK Maxx in Europe, and TK Maxx in Australia.
