Switzerland updates sanctions list targeting Taliban-linked individuals and entities

Switzerland's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) has issued an amendment to the list of sanctioned natural persons, companies and organisations covered by the regulation of 21 March 2025 on measures against individuals and entities associated with the Taliban (SR 946.231.07). The update expands the roster of entities subject to Swiss sanctions, reflecting ongoing efforts to curb financial support for the Taliban. SECO made the revised list publicly available through its official channels.

The amendment forms part of Switzerland's broader sanctions regime aimed at restricting the flow of funds to groups deemed a threat to international security and stability.
