Stewart Information Services Corporation said it has acquired Tower Title, a national provider of title services for telecommunications infrastructure and related sectors.
The acquisition bolsters Stewart’s National Commercial Services division, specifically its Energy & Infrastructure group, which serves sectors including solar farms, wind turbines, data centers and billboards. Tower Title was founded in 2019 and operates as a specialized unit within the telecommunications-focused title services market.
Stewart did not disclose financial terms of the deal. The company provides residential and commercial title insurance, closing and settlement services across the United States.
Fred Eppinger, Stewart’s chief executive officer, said Tower Title is a strategic fit that advances the company’s commercial growth strategy. “They have an impressive leadership team in place that has vision for emerging markets,” he said.
Kevin Bradley, co-founder and CEO of Tower Title, said Stewart’s reputation, resources and long-term growth commitment make it an ideal partner. Turk & Company served as Tower Title’s exclusive financial advisor on the transaction.
Matt Skalmer, senior vice president for Stewart’s Energy & Infrastructure Group, and Erin Sheckler, group president of Stewart NCS, also highlighted the alignment of the two companies’ businesses.
