Stellantis N.V. named Arnaud Belloni chief executive officer of its Fiat, Abarth and Lancia brands, as well as chief marketing officer for Europe, effective Monday.
Belloni will report to Emanuele Cappellano, Stellantis’ chief operating officer for Enlarged Europe. The appointment follows a transition period with current CEO Olivier François, who will remain in an advisory role through mid-October before departing the company.
François, who joined Stellantis predecessor Fiat Chrysler Automobiles more than 30 years ago, previously led Fiat, Abarth, DS Automobiles and Lancia as CEO and served as global chief marketing officer. His tenure included senior roles across Chrysler and Fiat Group brands globally.
Belloni returns to Stellantis after a 16-year initial stint in marketing and brand leadership roles for Italian and French marques. Prior positions included Fiat and Lancia brand marketing director, managing director of Lancia France, and vice president of marketing for Asia Pacific. From 2015 to 2020, he served as global chief marketing officer for Citroën, where he executed brand strategy initiatives and product launches.
Most recently, Belloni held global chief marketing and branding roles at Renault Group from November 2020 through May 2023.
Cappellano said Belloni’s experience and global perspective would support Stellantis’ efforts to strengthen marketing across Europe and guide the next phase for Fiat, Abarth and Lancia.
