Soluna Holdings said it will deploy 28 megawatts of bitcoin mining equipment for Bitdeer Technologies Group at its wind-powered Kati 1 data center in Willacy County, Texas.
Under a co-mining agreement, Soluna will provide the site, power and turnkey operations, while Bitdeer supplies and owns the Sealminer A2 Pro Air mining rigs. The partners will share mining proceeds. Deployment is scheduled to begin in September 2026, with capacity ramping in batches.
The Kati 1 facility, an 83 MW wind-powered data center, will host the gear in its K1BC phase. Soluna operates 192 MW of data center capacity across projects in Texas and Kentucky, with an additional 14 MW under construction at Kati 1. Its total development pipeline totals 6.3 gigawatts across planned, developmental and assessment-stage projects with power partners.
Soluna’s CEO John Belizaire said the co-mining structure aligns with the company’s operating history by allowing it to participate directly in the infrastructure’s output alongside a partner with advanced mining hardware. The deal follows Project Kati 1’s delivery of its first gross profit in the second quarter of 2026.
Bitdeer’s NASDAQ-listed shares trade under the ticker BTDR, while Soluna’s NASDAQ ticker is SLNH.
