SFC Energy lifts 2026 forecast on fuel cell demand
German energy firm raises revenue and EBITDA guidance as hydrogen fuel cell demand accelerates across Europe and Asia.

SFC Energy AG on Monday raised its 2026 revenue and earnings outlook, citing accelerating demand for hydrogen fuel cells in industrial and off-grid applications.
The German energy technology provider now expects 2026 revenue of €300 million to €350 million, up from a prior target of €250 million to €300 million. Adjusted EBITDA is forecast at €45 million to €55 million, compared with the previous range of €35 million to €45 million.
The company attributed the upward revision to stronger-than-anticipated orders in Europe and Asia, driven by government incentives for clean energy and decarbonization policies. SFC Energy specializes in direct methanol and hydrogen fuel cells for industrial, mobility and residential markets.
Management highlighted projects in the logistics, telecom and defense sectors as key contributors to growth. The revised guidance assumes continued policy support and no major supply chain disruptions.
SFC Energy’s shares rose 3.2% in Frankfurt trading following the announcement.
