SciSparc Ltd. (NASDAQ: SPRC) announced the appointment of Professor Carmel Domshlak to its Scientific Advisory Board for AI and cybersecurity, effective September 1, 2026.
Domshlak, a faculty member at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology since 2003, brings expertise in autonomous systems, automated reasoning, and sequential decision-making. His research spans action planning, multi-agent system design, preferential reasoning, and probabilistic inference, aligning with SciSparc’s strategic focus on Agentic AI.
The appointment follows SciSparc’s July 27, 2026 announcement that it would target the Agentic AI market and establish a Scientific Advisory Board to guide its expansion into AI-driven technologies and cybersecurity solutions. The company is currently in discussions with multiple firms active in the Agentic AI sector.
Domshlak holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University, completed in 2002, and served as a research associate at Cornell University from 2002 to 2004. He also served as dean of the Technion’s faculty from 2017 to 2021 and has received multiple Influential Paper Awards at the International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling (ICAPS) in 2019, 2020, 2023, and 2026. He previously served on the ICAPS Executive Council from 2011 to 2017.
SciSparc’s core business remains in clinical-stage pharmaceutical development through its subsidiary NeuroThera, which is advancing cannabinoid-based treatments including SCI-110 for Tourette syndrome, Alzheimer’s disease, and agitation, and SCI-210 for autism spectrum disorder and status epilepticus.
