Rubicon Organics beats Q2 2026 revenue forecasts
Canadian cannabis company Rubicon Organics reported second-quarter revenue that exceeded analyst expectations, citing strong wholesale demand and cost efficiencies.

Rubicon Organics (CSE: ROMJ) said on Friday its revenue for the second quarter of 2026 reached C$22.4 million, topping the C$20.5 million average estimate compiled by analysts. The Vancouver-based cannabis producer attributed the outperformance to robust wholesale demand and improved operational efficiencies.
The company’s gross margin expanded to 41% from 38% in the same period a year earlier, driven by higher sales volumes and lower production costs. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose to C$4.1 million, up from C$2.8 million in Q2 2025.
Rubicon Organics maintained its full-year 2026 revenue guidance of C$85 million to C$90 million, signaling confidence in sustained demand despite ongoing industry headwinds. Management highlighted expansion in the medical cannabis segment and steady wholesale partnerships as key drivers of growth.
Shares of Rubicon Organics closed 3.2% higher on Thursday, reflecting investor optimism ahead of the earnings update. The stock has gained 18% year-to-date, underperforming the S&P/TSX Cannabis Index, which is up 24% over the same period.
Analysts at Canaccord Genuity maintained a hold rating on the stock with a C$3.50 price target, citing valuation concerns despite the revenue beat. The company’s shares last traded at C$2.95, still below the target price.
