RTX Corp. (NYSE: RTX) named Jill Albertelli president of its Pratt & Whitney unit, effective Jan. 1, 2027, the company said.
Albertelli most recently led Pratt & Whitney’s Military Engines division, where she secured the company’s sole-source propulsion contract for the F-35 fighter jet and oversaw delivery and quality performance of the F135 engine. She brings more than 30 years of experience across engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, supply chain management, commercial programs, sales and maintenance repair operations at Pratt & Whitney.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Albertelli will report to RTX Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Chris Calio.
Outgoing President Shane Eddy plans to retire after more than 40 years at the company. He assumed the Pratt & Whitney presidency in 2022 and will remain through March 2027 as a special advisor to support the transition.
RTX reported 2025 sales of more than $88 billion and employs more than 180,000 people globally. The company is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia.
