Rollins Inc’s shares dropped to a 52-week low of $35.96 on Monday, marking the lowest valuation for the pest control services provider since mid-2023.
The decline follows a broader pullback in equities, with the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average both trading lower in recent sessions. Rollins, which operates under brands including Orkin and Terminix, has seen its stock under pressure alongside other defensive-leaning consumer services names.
Analysts attributed the move to a combination of profit-taking after a strong run in 2023 and broader macroeconomic uncertainty. The company has not issued any new guidance or operational updates in recent weeks to explain the drop.
The 52-week low comes after Rollins reported fourth-quarter earnings of $0.45 per share on revenue of $852.1 million, beating analyst estimates. However, the stock has since retraced, reflecting shifting investor sentiment.
At $35.96, Rollins’ shares are now down approximately 12% from their 52-week high of $40.80, reached in December 2023. The company’s market capitalization stands at roughly $16.5 billion as of Monday’s close.
