Regent, a global private equity firm led by founder Michael A. Reinstein, has agreed to acquire Avon América do Norte from LG H&H Co., Ltd. for an undisclosed sum. The deal is slated to close on September 1.
The transaction transfers ownership of Avon's U.S. and Canadian direct-selling operations to Regent, reuniting the North American unit with Avon's international business for the first time since 2016. Regent acquired Avon's European, Asian, African, and Middle Eastern operations from Natura & Co. in January 2026, while LG H&H had purchased Avon North America in 2019 as part of its international expansion strategy.
LG H&H, a South Korean beauty and wellness company listed on the KRX under ticker 051900, said the sale allows it to focus on core K-beauty and retail priorities. The company reported a market capitalization of approximately $3 billion and annual revenue of about $4 billion in 2025.
Sunjoo Lee, CEO of LG H&H, stated the company conducted a strategic review of its global portfolio before deciding to divest Avon North America. Sun Moon, current CEO of Avon North America, will remain in his role, while Lisa Siders will take over as CEO of the combined Avon business. The North American unit operates under brands including Skin So Soft, ANEW, and Glimmer, selling skincare, cosmetics, fragrances, and personal care products through independent sales representatives in the U.S. and Canada.
