Quantum Cyber N.V. appointed Dennis Schnur as head of U.S. sales, effective immediately, as the autonomous defense technology company accelerates its domestic drone manufacturing program.
Schnur, a U.S. Army veteran who served with the U.S. Army Reserve's 77th Army Reserve Command in the late 1960s, brings more than six decades of commercial distribution experience to the role. His background includes wholesale distribution partnerships with brands such as Samsung, Revlon, and Shiseido, according to the company.
The appointment supports Quantum Cyber's expansion following its acquisition of a manufacturing facility in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The company has since assembled its first mini-interceptor drone at the facility, part of its broader autonomous defense technology portfolio. Quantum Cyber describes itself as developing an AI-powered platform for drone warfare, counter-UAS, demining, and command-and-control applications.
David Lazar, chief executive officer of Quantum Cyber, said Schnur's experience in building and managing relationships, negotiating with major organizations, and scaling product distribution aligns with the company's commercial growth strategy. The appointment follows Quantum Cyber's incorporation of Quantum Drones Corporation, a wholly-owned Nevada subsidiary through which the company operates its drone initiatives.
Quantum Cyber's shares trade under the ticker QUCS on the NASDAQ and QUCY on the OTC market.
