Prime Financial Group reported a 22% increase in total revenue to $60.5 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, driven by a 20% rise in revenue from contracts with customers to $59.3 million. The company’s recurring income reached 85% of total revenue, up from 70% in the prior year, reflecting its shift toward more stable revenue streams.
Underlying EBITDA for members grew 18% to $13.9 million, though the reported EBITDA margin remained flat at 24% due to a 30% corporate tax rate, compared with 25% in the prior period. Reported net profit after tax declined 15% to $3.9 million, while adjusted net profit—normalized for the tax change—would have risen 11% to $5.1 million. Earnings per share fell 20% to 1.49 cents, though adjusted EPS would have increased 5% to 1.96 cents.
The wealth segment led growth, with revenue surging 37% to $35.6 million, while the business segment grew 2% to $23.7 million. Core growth engines, including wealth management, SMSF services and accounting, delivered individual growth rates between 14% and 44%. Capital advisory revenue declined 61% amid a challenging market environment.
Prime Financial’s operating cash flow rose 47% to $4.3 million, supported by a 25% increase in revenue per full-time employee to $276,000. Total assets grew to $110.7 million, while net assets increased to $61.2 million. Group net debt rose to $20.6 million, pushing the debt-to-underlying-EBITDA ratio to 1.5 times, up from 1.3 times in the prior year.
The company paid a final dividend of 0.92 cents per share, fully franked, marking a 3% increase over the prior year. The full-year dividend totaled 1.72 cents per share, up 4% year-over-year and representing a compound annual growth rate of approximately 12% over the past five years. Management maintained its long-term revenue target of $100 million by FY28 to FY30, supported by a $42.6 million banking facility with Westpac.
Prime Financial’s shares edged up 1.16% to $0.218 following the presentation, trading within a 52-week range of $0.21 to $0.275.
