OneMeta Inc. has launched VerbumSDK On-Prem / Edge, a software development kit designed to run real-time translation and transcription entirely within a client's private infrastructure. The product operates on servers with no internet connection and supports over 140 languages, addressing data-security and compliance requirements for enterprise and government clients in sectors such as healthcare and finance.
The launch follows growing demand among organizations to process sensitive data locally rather than relying on public cloud providers. OneMeta's CEO Saul Leal stated that clients have requested the ability to deploy the technology within their own environments, allowing models to be trained on proprietary data while maintaining full operational control. Senior Vice President of Sales Tim Fisher noted that enterprises are increasingly seeking on-premises solutions for production AI workloads.
The move aligns with broader industry trends highlighted by a 2026 Broadcom survey of 1,800 senior IT leaders. The survey found that the share of enterprises using public cloud as their primary environment for production AI dropped from 56% to 41% in one year, with 56% now running or planning to run production AI on private infrastructure. MarketsandMarkets projects the global sovereign AI market to expand from $40.0 billion in 2025 to $148.0 billion by 2032, representing a 20.6% compound annual growth rate, with on-premises AI infrastructure identified as the fastest-growing deployment mode.
