Oman’s public revenues rose 13% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2026, reaching 6.602 billion Omani rials ($17.14 billion), the country’s state news agency reported on Sunday, citing data from the Ministry of Finance.
Net oil revenues increased 10% to 3.332 billion Omani rials during the same period, reflecting higher crude prices and production levels. Public spending also climbed 9% year-on-year, totaling 6.619 billion Omani rials, the agency said.
The figures underscore Oman’s reliance on hydrocarbon earnings amid fluctuating global oil markets. The state news agency did not provide additional details on the drivers behind the revenue growth or spending increases.
